TB-500 is the synthetic form of thymosin β4, a 43-amino-acid, actin-sequestering peptide present in most mammalian cells and in platelets. Its primary biochemical role is binding monomeric G-actin, which places it at the center of cytoskeletal-dynamics and cell-migration research.

In cell and animal models thymosin β4 has been studied for endothelial migration, angiogenesis, and the cellular cascades that follow tissue injury; Goldstein and Kleinman review the pathways underlying its regenerative activity and the experimental systems in which they were characterized.

Supplied as lyophilized powder, 5 mg or 10 mg per vial. Store sealed vials at 2–8 °C for short-term holding and at −20 °C for long-term storage, protected from light and moisture.

Current certificate of analysis (PDF): 10 mg, lot 20250321.

Mechanism, model systems and the PubMed-cited studies for this compound are summarized in the Tissue-Repair Peptides section of the Research Library. Every tested lot’s HPLC purity result is filed on the Certificates of Analysis page, and our Testing and Quality page explains what those certificates do and do not show.

Certificate of Analysis

Every lot Liv Pure ships is tested by an independent laboratory before release. The certificate of analysis reports chromatographic purity (HPLC) for that specific lot, and the current certificates for this compound are linked at the end of the description above, and every lot Liv Pure ships is listed on the Certificates of Analysis page. Match the lot number printed on the vial to the certificate before the material enters an assay. If a lot you hold is not listed, request its certificate from support@livpurewellness.com.
