Bacteriostatic solution is 0.9% w/v sodium chloride in water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative, supplied as a 30 mL vial for laboratory research use only, used to reconstitute lyophilized peptides before an assay.
Reconstitute by adding the solution slowly down the inside wall of the peptide vial and swirling; do not shake. Reconstituted peptide solutions are typically held at 2–8 °C and used within the window stated on the lot certificate.
Supplied as 30 mL per vial. Store at room temperature, protected from light; discard 28 days after opening.
