Tissue-Repair Peptides

Tissue-repair peptides are short synthetic peptides whose sequences are derived from, or identical to, endogenous fragments studied in models of wound closure, angiogenesis, extracellular-matrix remodeling and inflammation resolution. The compounds in this class (BPC-157, thymosin beta-4/TB-500, GHK-Cu and KPV) act through distinct mechanisms: nitric oxide and growth-factor-receptor signalling, G-actin sequestration and cell migration, copper-dependent modulation of gene expression, and melanocortin-related anti-inflammatory signalling, respectively. The literature is dominated by rodent injury models (tendon, skin, muscle, gastrointestinal, myocardial), ex vivo explants and cultured fibroblast, keratinocyte, endothelial and epithelial cell lines, together with mechanistic reviews. Human clinical data are sparse or absent for most of these peptides, and the references collected in the Research Library are restricted to in-vitro, preclinical and review literature.

Liv Pure supplies BPC-157, TB-500 (thymosin beta-4), GHK-Cu and KPV as lyophilized research reagents; each listing shows the quantities available and links to its certificate of analysis where a lot has been tested. The published in-vitro and preclinical literature for every compound in this class, with PubMed links, is collected in the Tissue-Repair Peptides section of the Research Library. All products are for in-vitro laboratory research only and are not for human or animal use.
