GLP-3 R (LY3437943) is a 39-amino-acid synthetic peptide with a C20 fatty-diacid side chain, characterized in vitro as a triple agonist at the glucagon receptor (GCGR), the GIP receptor, and the GLP-1 receptor, with more GIPR activity than GCGR or GLP-1R activity.
Its receptor-activity profile and design are described in the Lilly paper by Coskun and colleagues in Cell Metabolism. It is used as a triple-agonist reference ligand in class B GPCR binding and signaling assays.
Supplied as lyophilized powder, 10, 20, 30, 50 or 60 mg per vial. Store sealed vials at 2–8 °C for short-term holding and at −20 °C for long-term storage, protected from light and moisture.
