SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small molecule identified as a pan-agonist of the estrogen-related receptors ERRα, ERRβ and ERRγ, with highest potency at ERRα. It is supplied as 60 capsules of 350 mcg for laboratories working on orphan nuclear receptor pharmacology.
Billon and colleagues reported its identification and characterized it in a skeletal-muscle cell line and in mice, where it increased mitochondrial respiration in vitro and induced an ERRα-dependent transcriptional program, in a 2023 paper on a synthetic ERR agonist. It is used in nuclear-receptor reporter assays and mitochondrial-biogenesis studies.
